What my practice will look like in the future
Hello all!
A huge thank you to all of you who have taken the time to vote on my new website design! I appreciate the time you took to help me make this decision. Voting has been closed, Carrie and I will begin finalizing the site this week. My goal is to have the website published and available as soon as possible.
During the voting process, I connected with many of you via phone, which helped me in a variety of ways! One point of clarity has led me to want to share some information with you about COVID-19 and the massage profession.
I am sharing a link to an article written by Ruth Werner, author of A Therapist's Guide to Pathology. This is the guide massage professionals turn to when making critical thinking decisions on how to treat a certain diagnosis. This is an addendum to her 7th edition book that she and the publisher determined to share, whether a practitioner purchased the book or not.
It is a 6-page document linked here: https://bodbucket.s3.amazonaws.com/CovidUpdate-MTGP-200818.pdf
I hope all of this information helps you when it comes to making a decision about massage and your health.
If you are seeking massage from others at this time... YAY! I hope that those who are helping you are following the guidelines that are set forth by our governing bodies. I am including what will be my practices when I resume working in the profession that I love, subject to any improvements that are discovered to help make us safer. These provisions have been put in place to keep us healthy and to mitigate the chances of a practice becoming a "super spreader" location. (This document will be posted to my COVID-19 page).
Stay healthy and well out there folks!
