Hello,
Every one of you has changed and enhanced my world for sure! And I thank every one of you for doing so!
I just wanted to pop into your inbox for a quick minute to not only thank you all for changing my life for the better, but to give you an update as to when the office will re-open so that I can get back to work helping you.
There are PPE supplies that are already here, and some that are shipping as soon as the backlog allows. There will be changes in the way the office looks and feels, along with how the massage itself is done,
When we do re-open, you will be receiving a questionnaire along with your appointment reminder. These will need to be filled out before each appointment to ensure that I have the most up to date information on your health.
As to when can we start making appointments, this is a little more complicated. Although opening ASAP is what you and I both want...staying healthy and safe is our ultimate goal. Although this disease is classified as a respiratory disease, the effects it has on every system of the body are still being figured out by medical professionals, And nobody knows what this virus is doing to the asymptomatic peoples circulatory, respiratory, and lymphatic systems -- all these are greatly affected by massage.
With all of this in mind, I will be waiting until Pierce County moves into the later part of phase 2, or even phase 3 before I resume working. This gives me time to finish gathering the supplies needed, and to have the conversations with my building owner and colleagues to ensure our space is as "safe" as it can be.for all of us.
I put safe in quotations because, truth be told, none of us truly know the definition of safe when it comes to this disease. I realize some of you will feel comfortable to resume treatments ASAP. Others will be more cautious due to your health concerns, please know that I will be here for you when you are ready!
